Our Aviary & Sanctuary
A Feathered Paradise
At the Central California Avian Rescue Center, our birds are more than rescues—they’re family. We've created a true avian sanctuary where beauty, comfort, and care come together in a safe and enriching environment.
Our sanctuary features a spacious 10x20 outdoor aviary, complete with a tranquil 2-foot pond, flowing with constant running water and access to electricity for year-round functionality. During the summer months, the aviary is cooled by misters and surrounded by ample shade, keeping our feathered friends comfortable and stress-free.
For birds who need extra care, we offer dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring a calm and safe environment for healing and rest. Our Big Bird Room is home to our majestic macaws and cockatoos, providing space, stimulation, and plenty of interaction. Our smaller residents, from finches to lovebirds, enjoy roomy flight cages and carefully designed spaces that support their natural behaviors and needs.
From the tiniest finch to the proudest peacock, every bird in our care receives love, enrichment, and compassionate attention. This California avian rescue isn’t just a shelter—it’s a celebration of life, color, and second chances.
